Dominique Strauss-Kahn will be paid according to his lawyer

The former director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dominique Strauss-Kahn will be acquitted in the trial for attempted rape and sexual assault brought against him, says one of his lawyers Benjamin Brafman said in an interview published Sunday in Haaretz.

"He will plead not guilty, and ultimately he will be acquitted," said Mr. Brafman in the liberal Israeli newspaper interview, the first since the arrest of his client on May 14

"Nothing is safe, but what I discern in the investigation, he (Strauss-Kahn) will be paid (...) He was very impressed.Despite the circumstances, it is well shot, "he said.

"He is not happy to be accused of actions he did not commit," he told Mr. Brafman, who came to Israel to attend a family event.

Mr. Brafman, 62, is considered one of the great masters of the bar in the United States. He was counsel for several American stars, including the late Michael Jackson.
