AFP - A judge has ordered New York's incarceration Dominique Strauss-Kahn and refused to release him on bail of one million dollars, two days after his arrest in a case of sexual crime against a woman in a room Manhattan hotel.
Judge Melissa Jackson has raised a risk of leakage from the International Monetary Fund boss, arrested on Saturday aboard an Air France plane that was leaving Kennedy Airport in New York.
The defense of the former minister had earlier offered bail of one million dollars for the provisional release of DSK, which has also submitted his passport to justice.
Strauss-Kahn would also committed to reside in New York with his daughter, his lawyers have proposed.
